Beth Bonfiglio, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, began working at Collegiate Coaching Services (CCS) in 2015 and has worked as a coach in all the services offered by CCS, which includes therapeutic coaching, executive function coaching, and therapeutic parent coaching. Beth has gained a significant amount of therapeutic and clinical expertise while working in these roles. She has a skillful approach to motivating clients to discover their “grit” and improve their confidence. She is very passionate about educating, supporting, and coaching young adults and their families to realize and achieve their goals, and engage in long-lasting change.
As the Assistant Clinical Director, she provides education and therapeutic recommendations to clients who utilize services at CCS. Beth provides initial assessments for both executive function coaching clients and therapeutic coaching clients, where she develops an action plan to support their success. She works as a member of the CCS leadership team to ensure clients receive the most innovative care, coaching and guidance from our expert team. As a supervisor at CCS, Beth provides coaches with one-to-one supervision, as well as guidance and mentorship. In addition to her assistant director responsibilities, Beth continues to be a part of the parent coaching team.
Beth received her undergraduate degree in Psychology & Neuroscience from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2010. In addition to her academic pursuits at CU, she was also a member of the women’s water polo team. She pursued her interest in working with parents, couples & families by obtaining her master’s degree in Education in Couples and Family Therapy at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon in 2012. While at the University of Oregon, Beth had the opportunity to work for the Center for Family Therapy where she provided therapy for individuals, families, and couples with a variety of treatment needs. In addition, Beth assisted with the University of Oregon’s Healthy Nests study, which researched the effects of the birth of a child on couple dynamics. Beth continued to work with families by providing Intensive in-home therapy services throughout Portland and the surrounding areas. This allowed her to work in clients’ homes, schools, and communities to meet their treatment needs.
Beth is also a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT).
