Stephanie is self-motivated, community-driven, and is passionate about Collegiate Coaching Services (CCS) and the services we provide to adolescents, young adults, and parents. Stephanie values cultivating and nurturing relationships with our collaborative partners including mental health and educational professionals, as well as the high schools and colleges in our local communities, in Boston, MA, as well as nationwide.
Stephanie’s a licensed teacher in Colorado and earned her master’s degree in Education from Boise State University. Her training and expertise in the areas of education, teaching, and coaching teens and young adults has prepared her well for the role of Outreach Coordinator. Stephanie is well-versed in what CCS has to offer due to previously holding positions such as, being an executive functioning coach, the academic director, and the course instructor for our college preparatory program’s college course. She understands the value that CCS brings to higher learning and has seen the long-term successes of her former clients, which in-part has motivated her to be the Outreach Coordinator at CCS. In addition to her role at CCS, she currently works part-time with high school juniors and seniors teaching AP Psychology and leads educational trips abroad to better understand the current challenges that students and their parents are facing in the classroom.
Stephanie has been recognized for several educational awards which highlights her amazing talents and skills as an educator. These include, ‘Instructor of the Year’, ‘Innovator of the Year’, and most recently she received the ‘Veterans of Foreign Wars Teacher of the Year’ recognition, along with winning several grants due to her work in and outside of the classroom.
Stephanie volunteers for “Real Alternatives to Drugs and Drinking (RAD)”, which serves as a safe place for high school students to have fun once a month. She also is a member of “Unchained at Last”, an organization that works to make the mandatory age for marriage across the United States, a minimum age of 18. Stephanie understands the impact of digital media and devices on children’s development and in the educational realm, therefore she is an active participant within in the Screentime Action Network.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys exploring her home state of Colorado, as well as travelling around the world with her family. She also is a member of “Unchained at Last”, an organization that works to make the mandatory age for marriage across the United States, a minimum age of 18.
