Shanelle Wenell, MFT
Shanelle received her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Adler Graduate School in Minnesota before packing up her family, and barnyard and moving to Colorado.
She has spent most of her graduate and therapeutic training providing children, adolescents and families Equine Assisted Psychotherapy services for mental health disorders as well as in home based ABA therapy for children and teens with Autism.
She has a passion for understanding life from the client’s perspective and believes in the power of helping clients utilize their strengths while working on their limitations to further succeed in life.
Shanelle prefers a therapeutic approach of building a good relationship while utilizing evidence-based practices to help promote the most opportunity for change with clients. She also believes strongly in the importance of being on the frontline of life with clients to help them put into practice the skills they learn.
When she’s not empowering and motivating her clients she can find be found her at home spending time with her family and in the barn hanging with her animals.
